The town of Pauillac cannot be considered as an interesting travel destination. Visitors that often eat here at lunch are usually those that are part of a wine tour leaving from Bordeaux. In fact, most of our private and shared Bordeaux wine tours will stop in Pauillac or the surrounding area for lunch breaks. The town is ideal for a lunch stop as the there are different options.

On a full day wine tour from Bordeaux, we usually include the Pauillac appellation as it is home to world renowned wineries. On our private tours we can organize and book tours to almost all the wineries of the appellation including Lafite, Mouton, Cos and many more. Only Château Latour does not open to the public.

On our shared tours, we also include the Pauillac appellation. During these small group Bordeaux wine tours, the wineries visited can be Cru Classé ones or Cru Bourgeois properties. We tend to mix high-end visits with more local ones in family owned estates. Whatever type of tour you opt for, the wineries visited are firts and foremost selected for the quality of the wines produced.
