Established in 1893 by Charles Spindler, the marquetry workshop is today owned by his grand-son Jean-Charles who took over the business in 1975. Today the workshop produces contemporary creations as well as more traditional pieces. Upon arrival, visit the Museum that houses a large selection of works made by Charles Spindler - furniture, marquetry panels, works of decorative art or sculptures. Visit the Oldest Distillery of Alsace
After lunch, it will be time to head to the Lehman Distillery that is the oldest in Alsace. The distillery was founded in 1850 and has been in the same family ever since for more than 6 generations. The distillery has also obtained the sought after quality label of " Living Heritage Company" this is awarded to the best craftsmen or artisan workshops in France. Your visit will be taken care of by the master distiller who will go over the process of distillation with you and even share a few family secrets.
After the visit, it will be time to return to Strasbourg.
