Your day begins with pick up directly at your cruise ship in Cannes. Meet your English-speaking driver/guide, who will present the itinerary and answer any questions before you board your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and set off toward the city center.
Start with a stroll along the legendary Croisette Boulevard, lined with palm trees, luxury boutiques, elegant hotels, and sandy beaches. See the Palais des Festivals, home to the world-famous Cannes Film Festival, and enjoy some time to soak up the Riviera atmosphere or browse the designer shops.
Continue to Grasse, the world-renowned capital of perfume, set on a hillside overlooking the countryside. Learn how local flowers such as roses and jasmine have shaped the town’s history and economy. Take part in a guided visit of a perfume factory to discover the secrets of fragrance creation and the traditional techniques behind this iconic industry.
Next, head to the hilltop village of Gourdon, perched dramatically above the Loup River valley. Wander its narrow streets, stop in small artisan shops, and enjoy sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. Nearby you may also see the famous Florian confectionery, known for its candied fruits and sweets.
Drive along the Loup River through a peaceful, scenic landscape before reaching Tourrettes-sur-Loup, often called the “village of violets.” Explore this picturesque medieval village set on a rocky outcrop between two valleys, and discover its small workshops and boutiques showcasing local crafts.
In the afternoon, finish your excursion in the fortified village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, one of the most beautiful and artistic villages on the Riviera. Walk along cobbled lanes lined with art galleries, boutiques, and cafés, and admire the stone houses and views from the ramparts. After your visit, relax on the return drive to Cannes Cruise Port, where your guide will drop you off at your ship.
